Well, that is a beastly storm. 60 dBZ going up to 9 km with 70 dBZ in the RFD. Also, massive OT in the satellite imagery.

While the dewpoints are mostly below 15 °C, it looks like another situation with potential severe weather outbreak from Serbia to Romania and Bulgaria. This time, there's stronger synoptic and mesoscale lift with pronounced short-wave and cold front sweeping across the area.

Textbook supercell just entered Romania, a similar region that was already affected on Tuesday.

That is an extreme hail damage, probably from a combination of large amounts of what seems like quite large hail.

I wouldn't be surprised by both days having an upgrade to Moderate Risk at some point for some of the threats. Looks quite menacing.

What a long stretch of very favorable conditions for severe storms today across the US. This could result in a couple of long-lived tornadic supercells that will eventually congeal into a fast-moving bow echo. SPC currently has a Moderate risk in place across the region.
