People with #PSC can experience an infection of the bile ducts (called ā€œPSC flareā€ or ā€œcholangitis attackā€). If you're a PSC patient who's had an attack or flare consider filling in this survey, helping us improve care and develop treatments. buff.ly/3Ut2DeQ @PSCPartners

Bajaj presents DBRCT of FMT (oral/enema/combined/placebo) in HE. FMT causes dramatic reduction in HE and liver-related outcomes, but not hospitalisation or death. Does rifaximin influence engraftment though? Maybe - lower engraftment rates than anticipated...

Terry Cheuk-Fung Yip from Hong Kong presents at #EASLCongress that changes in LSM reflect disease progression & regression in patients with MASLD and are predictive of liver related events. Whilst only 5% progressed, 30% change (at median 15 months) seems to be the magic number.
