One of the most important studies (IMHO) that never got the traction it deserved. Deferring stenting once vessel is open is safe in STEMI. At 10y HR with deferral 0.82 [95% CI, 0.67–1.02]; P=0.08 for death+HFH). HF Hosp'n lower with deferred stenting (OR 0.58 [95% CI, 0.39–0.88])
