Two different examples of tree protection here. First some recently planted #aspen emerging from biodegradable tree tubes. And hazel, now protected from deer browsing by a windblown oak. Our vol day this weekend was at the new plant nursery. We got all the juniper seedlings up off the ground for the winter & dug some new beds for sowing wildflowers for seed. A small number of tea-leaved willow also went as a future source for cuttings. Mountain Woodland Action Group @UBoCarbon
