Once a year, our team hosts our “staff alumni” at the British residence. Our former staff feel connected to the UK & share our passion for making a positive contribution to the peoples of Cambodia & UK. Lovely to have them over, to keep in touch and show our appreciation.

Last week, Amb Dominic Williams 🇬🇧🇰🇭 met with Minister of Tourism, H.E. Hout Hak, to discuss 🇰🇭’s tourism landscape & ways to attract more tourists. He emphasised tourism's role in fostering connections &driving economic growth. Strong partnerships will boost tourism &benefit our communities.

Thank you Charles Hay for travelling to Siem Reap to visit The HALO Trust ‘s work. In this video, we support destruction of two mines - part of Halo’s work to save Cambodian communities from harm. Important Halo are able to access most densely contaminated areas of the country.

On way to school, my 7yo asked me how changes in the oil price affect the economy. We had a good chat about it. Amazing how quickly the questions have moved on from his infant “why” questions - though I like to think seriously engaging those has encouraged continued curiosity.

British education has a world class reputation. It’s great to see more British schools like Reigate Grammar School opening up in Phnom Penh. I had a look at their campus this morning - in a word, wow!
