We're very excited that Adrian Dunkley Labour from Cotham School will be speaking about his experience as an African-Caribbean male senior leader at this year's Festival of Education 🇬🇧 for The BAMEed Network, inspiring others just as he does with all the young people he has worked with in Bristol #edfest

We're looking forward to seeing Mrs Malik (Rahima Khatun رحيمه রাহিমা ਰਹੀਮਾ रहीमा) at the NEU South West Region region's NEU Black Educators Conference on the 13th July in Bristol, hoping for greater collaboration between our organisations in the region to promote #antiracisteducation and tackle #institutionalracism The BAMEed Network

Thank you to counterprotesters & officers of Avon and Somerset Police who protected the hotel where many refugee/asylum seeker families live. Good to remember that the counter protesters far outweighed those that seek to sow division and hatred in this city of sanctuary. #RiotsUK #SayNoToRacism

With 80 anti-racist and migrant rights organisations, we've written to Keir Starmer asking for Parliament to be recalled to address the scale of this crisis. The new govt must change the dial, and foster zero tolerance for far-right, racist and anti-migrant narratives.

Getting sharing… The BAMEed Network are compiling and putting together a resource highlighting them all. The list below hasn’t been “vetted” it’s just a starting point of resources openly available.

This is the real Bristol. Solidarity and inclusion, not division and hatred. Great picture BCfm Radio #saynotoracism #antifascism #saynotofascism #Bristol #cityofsanctuary #StandUptoRacism
