As a cardiologist, in my experience... In office blood pressures are as close to useless as makes no difference. Usually, it's just pure theatre. Get a home monitor. Learn how to use it. Average those numbers. Now we are talking!

I think so, what else explains an initial high event rate which then subsides (aortic stenosis doesn’t get better!)? Great if you can manage the first 6 months of subtraction anxiety - event rate then tracks the TAVR arm. Psychology so important in clinical trials. John Mandrola, MD
