Through Black Boys Can Cry, we hope to encourage open conversations between Black boys and men across the country - but also among wider society, with suicide being the biggest killer in men under 50, writes Alex Beresford itv.com/news/2023-10-0…

Live or work in Waddon ward? Why not attend the next police ward panel meeting on 23 Oct? croydoncc.wordpress.com/2023/10/17/liv… The #waddon team are now at South Croydon Police of Twitter

I really enjoyed the training on the 2021 DA/VAWG ACT today with Rights of Women. Tiny #forandby organisations like mine need the support of legal professionals when advocating on behalf of WOC in the community.

Such a great morning with DMT Croydon Drop In Reaching Higher CroydonPolice & other amazing organisations. Our community coffee mornings are a way of linking parents up with local services. Do get in touch if you would like to join us in January #StrongerTogether 💙

"He represented the heart and consciousness of Black Britain in a way that few ever have. He was the “people’s laureate”; a voice for the community that was so clear and unapologetic it always cut through" my tribute to Benjamin Zephaniah 🙏🏿 The Independent independent.co.uk/voices/benjami…

On my way to join Vanessa Feltz on the topic of #KnifeCrime for which there is no one solution. Every agency around a young person's life must play their part, Health, Education, Police, Community/Family & Housing etc...#CroydonModel

What Frank Hester said is clearly racist. Don't pretend you care about MPs safety if you can't call out racism. You want to give millions to someone who hates "all Black women". Rishi Sunak hand back his donations and rescind his Government contracts immediately!

The silence is deafening. Nothing said by either local Labour or Conservative leaders calling out the vicious attack on Diane Abbott in a Borough that has majority Black, Asian & mixed populace. As a black woman with a public profile, the lack of allyship speaks volumes.

As a UNISON - UK's largest union member, I find this worrying. Is this true? If it is, the membership should be made aware. You can't be the UK largest Union and expect no one to notice. Croydon UNISON Branch
