I should be qualified to comment on the covid-19 pandemic. I'm a computational/system biologist working on infectious diseases and have spent five years in a world class 'pandemic response modelling' unit. In this thread, I will summarise what I believe I (don't) know. (1/12)

We thank the #HealthCareHeroes at St. Jude and around the world making a difference in their communities, especially those on the front lines. Today, more than ever, we are thankful and grateful for all you do. Take a moment to thank a doctor! Happy #NationalDoctorsDay.

I worked the night shift at Sinai Health System last night. Dr. Paul Koblic worked the casino shift from 9 pm to 4 am. I'm old and he's young. He offered to stay all night if necessary to do the intubations so I wouldn't have to risk getting #COVID19. I'm crying as I write this.
