Saw this in the BMj obituaries today. Not someone I have met but what an amazing and inspirational story. Achieved so much despite much adversity. Truly remarkable. RIP Allison.

The nucleus accumbens, the brain's reward center, can fuel impulsive behaviors like overeating and addiction. Fascinating Nature Medicine study found that stimulating this region in a temporally precise fashion can reduce overeating and promote weight loss.

Nat Biotech featured Huntington's disease (HD) therapeutics and clinical trials. Drawing attention to HD in high impact journals like this is great for showcasing the exciting things going on in HD research to a broad scientific readership. A big win! ift.tt/RBl5KbC

I’m v proud to have contributed to this Huntington's Disease Association campaign. There is now clear national guidance that patients with HD *or any neurological disorder* 🧠should not be declined from adult MH services on the basis of their diagnosis. Big thanks to NHS England for supporting us.

Important clarification from NHS England that people affected by neurological conditions should not be denied access to mental health services due to their neurological diagnosis. Well done to Huntington's Disease Association, Akshay Nair and all involved 👏

My God. Scott Galloway on uncensored leaves Piers Morgan speechless as he brutally ends the career of Elon musk in just a few sentences that perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with the Tesla personality and his ride or die supporters on social media

Holding the Ethernet into the wall and the Stealth so we can get imaging for #neurosurgery 🧠 (it fails when I let go) Only 1 theatre can do it, so we wheel the whole thing between rooms… or beg radiographers for a CD. Same setup as 10 years ago. Wes Streeting — help pls? #NHS
