Today I visited The University of Manchester with @ALUK_Research to hear about their fantastic research to understand how to treat lung conditions like asthma. We need more research like this to be able to make a real difference to people’s lives in the North West. #FundRespiratoryResearch

An exciting outcome from our collaborative effort. NFkb is a pivotal regulator of processes including inflammation and fibrosis. Hence its blockade is a promising therapeutic strategy. We demonstrate for the first time novel NFkb decoy NPs to target inflammation and fibrosis.

In my PhD, I honed critical thinking and reasoning. Not meeting expectations isn’t failure; it’s part of the process. Spotting promise in setbacks requires curiosity, openness, and optimism. Now, I help students foster these traits in science. #PhD #Science #CriticalThinking

.Dr. Amlan Chakraborty, MRSB and team demonstrated that a single injection 💉 of iPSC-MSCs maintained therapeutic efficacy after two weeks of administration and restored the #bleomycin-induced loss of dynamic lung compliance back to that measured in healthy control mice. 🐭 👉
