The study revealed the increased likelihood of being diagnosed with low-risk thyroid cancer after treatment with GLP-1 RAs — not because GLP-1 RAs cause thyroid cancer but because they are more likely to be diagnosed with it because clinicians are more likely to look for it 🤦🏼

This is so true. Yet in obesity treatment we are letting the perfect be the enemy of good and we don’t consistently promote body composition measures with BIA which is clinically the easiest thing to incorporate yet we keep saying it isn’t accurate yet 97% as good as DEXA.
