The most expensive words in IBD: "Let's wait and see" This morning's blog post is getting incredible engagement - seems I struck a nerve talking about our need to treat Crohn's disease early and aggressively. The PROFILE trial data speaks for itself: • Top-down therapy: 79%

For all my hepatologists out there, am I missing something? Why won’t GLP1a just crush Rezdiffra when FDA approves it for MASH? There must be a reason why Novo Nordisk paid for a giant DDW Booth and was selling no drug? Just letting people know about MASH.

In a UK study of 5.16M pregnancies (2000–2021), autoimmune disease in pregnancy rose from 3.5% to 4.7%. IBD was the 2nd most prevalent autoimmune condition after psoriasis. Autoimmune risk was higher in ex-smokers, multiparas, and women with mental or metabolic comorbidities.
