If a coach is not a leader, are they a coach? In analysing coach press conferences, it's fascinating how the absence of self-awareness is a significant issue. It is debatable what leadership is, BUT we know real leaders take responsibility rather than deflect.

When you understand the truth behind the rhetoric, specific “coaches” obviously require intense coaching to maintain the well-being of their people/players Sadly, their absence of self-awareness often means they won't seek help
