H = Hyperacusis βHyperacusis is dislike of all sounds above a certain intensity.β David Baguley Not the same as disliking sounds (Misophonia) or fear of sounds (Phonophobia). Whistling, smoke alarms, machinery etc - if severe, this can affect quality of life. #FNDAware
