Really lovely chat to with Nish Kumar and Coco Khan this morning recording Pod Save the UK. After the chaos of the vote, I worry I do very much sound like a woman who was still drunk from last night’s bender. But for the record: I was just high on codeine. Out tomorrow!

Happy publication day Rachel Charlton-Dailey! As I said on the blurb: “Young people should be taught this book in schools.”

It was a pleasure to be on this week’s Pod Save the UK. We chat about Who Wants Normal?, the chaos of the disability benefits vote, and why Nish Kumar must stop his ableist hate crimes against Rosie Jones. Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/pod…

💙📚 This week the #pedanticzebra book club chapter looks at BODY IMAGE Frances Ryan makes this poignant point about self-esteem for those with 'invisible' disabilities 👉Something important for those with #longcovid & #pwME (+ full of ME represention ✊💙)

Note No.10 is starting its new narrative: “We can’t stop the two child limit ‘cos they made us u-turn on disability benefits.” Child poverty v disability poverty is not a contest. Labour is responsible for its choices and solutions - not disabled people. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

Lovely to see Who Wants Normal? picked as part of Audible UK 🎧’s Disability Pride recommendations. It’s always nice to hang out with Rosie Jones and Stephen Hawking.
