Maisie Adam and co coming on the comms of City v Spurs is making a Barclays Women's Super League match feel like a joke, this is the top level of women’s football, not soccer aid.

maybe I’m old fashioned but a top flight WSL match reduced to soccer aid vibes shouldn’t be the key to audience growth etc

Adele singing about a toxic relationship, feelings of sadness, heartbreak, not moving on, false hope, disappointment and anger. The Spurs stadium sounds the perfect venue for next year’s tour.

The women’s team are such a good opportunity to build some new excitement around the club, bring in new fans etc, and then hearing on The View From The Lane Podcast that Spurs are the fourth lowest invested team in the WSL sums up where we are as a whole club. No interest in anything from the top.

There’s no doubt Tottenham Hotspur Women have regressed since last season and yet again it’s down to lack of investment and ambition from the club. Clinton wanted to stay but they didn’t try hard enough to keep her and neither her nor Bizet have been adequately replaced. Not good enough

Comprehensive defeat at the NLD today but my favourite moment was when the Arsenal fans were singing North London Forever and the young fan in front of me said ‘they’re the most jarring fanbase ever, oh my god’ - a phrase I’ve never used but I couldn’t agree more… #COYS

Dear Tottenham Hotspur (FAO: Production and Marketing team), We hope this message finds you well and that everyone at the club is as excited as we are for Thursday night’s game. We know you’ll be reading this tweet, so please take the following into consideration. Thursday

I was at Wembley with my Palace-supporting wife on Saturday. Her latest podcast reacting to the day - & her team’s first ever trophy - I personally think is her best yet. Pure passion & emotion. One any football fan will relate to. Check it out: open.spotify.com/episode/63gfrY…
