As expected - GLP-1 receptor agonists did not increase risk of #thyroidcancer 🦋 Tired of the consults for “#thyroid clearance to start GLP-1 RA” - don’t do that please ❌ If, based on their medical condition, your patient needs a GLP-1 RA… then start one ✅

One more time… It’s not appropriate to prescribe thyroid hormone replacement (of any kind) to euthyroid people. It is especially not appropriate to prescribe T3 (alone or in combination) to pregnant women! 🤰 If the #thyroid is working then don’t mess with it! 🛑
