At the Afro Caribbean health show tday we had health visitors /mental health team / long term condition teams / haematology /sexual health /housing/ money/ social prescribing/council services/amazing community groups for young people /adults/gp / CancerAlliance / dental teams !

We also had at the pop up clinic hair cutters / massage therapists / celebrated Afro Caribbean food - we had talks / listened to amazing Afrocaribean residents with lived experience in diabetes &sickle cell anemia giving talks /panel talks - &as GPs we saw anyone and treated

What a fantastic health event at Barking Learning Centre with Barking and Dagenham Council for local residents from African and Caribbean communities. We were there, with many health partners, to talk about #Cancer signs and symptoms and cancer screening programmes. We had an amazing response!
