Another great day in the Marine Lake Medical Practice Lab. We hit 59 recruits to ZosterFluCOV the second highest in the UK to date! Not bad for a Primary Care site 😉 Cherry on the cake was the delivery of some 🎅🏼 goodies from @NIHRCRN_nwcoast 🥳 Thanks as always!!

We have overwhelmingly voted to reject the Government and NHS England’s 2024/25 GP contract changes. More than 19,000 GPs and GP Registrars took part in the BMA’s referendum, with over 99% voting ‘no’. Our message can't be any clearer. bma.org.uk/our-campaigns/… @DrKatie.BSky.Social

Dr Peter Weeks We are definitely not blaming GPs here. It’s clear that the problem is a lack of funding for our surgeries so that they don’t have the capacity to meet demand. That is definitely not GPs’ fault - and I don’t think we’re implying that. The fault is the government’s.
