Thank you to School District of Ashland for having me yesterday to talk about budgeting for the future of public schools. Schools deserve the funding they are owed rather than having to turn to referendum for cover increasing costs. We need to fight for every dollar for every student.

Thank you to School District of Ashland for welcoming me and showing me around both the elementary school and high school! I love being able to see firsthand what students are working on and the passion that comes from their excellent teachers and educators.

Teachers, you show up and strengthen communities through your dedication to students the future of Wisconsin. Thank you for everything you do, day in and day out. (Featuring art work from students at Pewaukee Schools, Milwaukee MPS, and School District of Ashland) #TeacherAppreciationWeek
