How about we bring the benefits bill down by refusing to allow businesses to pay poverty wages and expecting the state to top them up?

Can we stop talking about £5bn a year spending cut. People on benefits spend their money straight away and very locally. It’s £5bn a year being taken off local shops and businesses. It’s £5bn a year less supporting local jobs. It will close shops and businesses and cut jobs.

So important to make this point. I spend my PIP in local shops and pay local people to provide me with social care support and help me stay mobile. I need DIYers, carpenters, builders as well as specialists eg people who service my scooter. #TakingThePIP

Someone needs to work out where the line between 'doctor-ing' and 'advanced practice physiotherapist-ing' sits, for each ACP type
