Today, we celebrate former President Jimmy Carter's 100th birthday! President Carter has been a true champion of public health during his time at the White House and now through The Carter Center. Thank you for your work to make the world better for everyone.

We are saddened by the passing of Bernie Marcus, cofounder and former CEO and chairman of The Home Depot and former chairman of our board of directors. While he is known for his incredible business career, at the CDC Foundation he is also remembered as a public health champion.
