It’s MH awareness day. MH is something we ALL have 24/7 but days like this r important to help raise awareness, normalise, &tackle stigma. If u re struggling (for whatever reason or even without reason) plz reach out. There is ZERO shame &a lot of kudos asking for help 🙌

Was asked my fav question today… “Is it Miss or Mrs?”… of course I dropped the “Dr” reply (I worked bloody hard for it!) but isn’t it weird how this is a thing to ask anyway?? I was only doing a return in a shop 😝

I didn’t carve a pumpkin this year - drew on one instead! Supposed to be Bailey 🐾 🎃

We recently held a sticky note comp for our residents! The goal was to bring flat members together for some creative pixelated fun while raising awareness of the various student services available at the uni. It was fab to see so many services highlighted on the sticky notes 🙌

The little one made an appearance at tonight’s Bakewell Hall Committee meeting 🙌 ❤️ 🐾

We have a special visitor Loughborough University today ⛄️

Was shopping earlier and saw something that really moved me… amongst the busy crowds was a young man with his clippers giving free hair cuts to the homeless - what a beautiful and kind thing to do 😇

Had fun with the Robert Bakewell Sub-Wardens at our winter ball on Wednesday. Superbly organised by the social secretaries, the ball was a lovely way to mark the end of a busy term with our residents 🎄 💃 🙌

Might have to get the paints out soon to make a few more of these 🎨

Today marks Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz- Birkenau and other camps including where my Grandad Kalawsky was held. I’ve lit to a candle for all those impacted by genocide and to stand against prejudice and hatred 🕯️

This is one league table it is absolutely brilliant to be at the top of Loughborough University ...members of UK Young Academy by institution 💜✨️ ...Excellent to have a further two members elected this year! Tomorrow's leaders, today. Congratulations to all! 👏
