Vulnerability doesn’t just mean to express your feelings.  That’s a dimensional definition.  It means to show up in an honest way, to live an honest life. Being honest to others by being honest with yourself.  Not just in words but in action.

In politics, many believe the worst epitaph is "loser." Some are not strong enough to cope with defeat. Jimmy Carter lost an election and spent the rest of his life settling conflicts, conquering disease and building homes for the homeless. He was in every way a winner.

Disabled people continue to be left behind to die in the LA fires. Another layer of sadness is the number of people who in the comments who simply don't believe it. People continue to believe there are safety nets that simply do.not.exist.

Getting sick listening to Governor Kathy Hochul defend forcibly institutionalizing disabled people as compassion. As if institutionalization is the way to treat someone. God forbid you support someone to live in the community to prevent MH crises. #CripTheVote #StateoftheState2025

And the next step is for Ohio to join the many other states that have stopped paying people with disabilities less than minimum wage. Imagine making 80 cents on the hour. 14c sheltered workshops must end.

I need people to understand how difficult it is to get an NIH grant. You spend months writing a proposal, following strict guidelines that include a detailed multiyear budget, bios of everyone on your team, plans for participant safety & ethical conduct. Then you send it off -1/n

Some disability rights advocates in the state are uniting behind a bill that would prevent disabled parents from having their parental rights terminated or from being denied adoptions solely because of their disability. Here's a look at Senate Bill 26. ow.ly/pjBy50USVP0
