Well, I chose to do a degree in physics because of the ā€˜hard’ maths - I saw the beauty in it. Then I became a teacher to show others how to see that beauty. The girls I taught were brilliant at the maths. This kind of negative female stereotype is so damaging.

If you live in the most deprived areas of the UK, your risk of epilepsy is increased by 34% compared to if you live in the least deprived. This is true for adults and children. Read more about it here: authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S24…
