If you are a member of the American Society of Criminology, look out for an e-mail on Monday 9/9 that describes our petition to form a division of health and disability criminology. It was a pleasure working with Dr. Chantal Fahmy & Danielle Wallace on this.

This is great news and a testament to hard work from Dr. Chantal Fahmy, Dr. Meghan Novisky, and Danielle Wallace! A formal division that acknowledges the intersection of criminology and public health is necessary and will ensure the field remains relevant for public policy moving forward.

I'm proud of the work my colleagues & I did (👋John Jirik + Marnie Rodriguez) to conceptualize and develop the Criminology + Journalism integrated degree. I hope students find this new option as exciting as we do! Cleveland State University clevelanddotcom Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs csuohio.edu/news/cleveland…
