Gemini Untwined has completed its eighth separation – the successful surgical separation of craniopagus twin girls, Minal and Mirha, in Türkiye. Both girls are recovering well after surgery. Find out more about their journey: geminiuntwined.org

This complex procedure was the first of its kind to use mixed reality technology ahead of surgery. The software trained the team in Ankara Bilkent City Hospital in Türkiye to prepare for the surgery, as well as the UK team supporting to rehearse the surgery.

Gemini- a Global Health Service This was truly a global effort and I am delighted with the results. The kids were from Pakistan, we were hosted in Turkiye and expertise and teamwork between the UK and Turkiye led to a wonderful outcome, this is how the world should be ❤️
