🌎🦏 In a world-first operation, our Leahurst Equine Hospital and Knowsley Safari worked together to conduct a veterinary procedure on baby rhino, Amara. A team of over ten vets, including specialist surgeons and anaesthetists, nurses & animal keepers carried out the treatment


Great trip to Ness Botanic Gardens with our Year 1 LivUni School of Biosciences students. Heard about some of UoLs research with Chris Mitchell @jay_salsa Professor Heather Allison Stewart Plaistow Raj Whitlock and saw lots of birds with the local ringing group

Strangely cathartic day running the very last LIFE227 lab after 6 years at the helm.
