This is terrible news. NHS is one of the biggest employers in the world, but won’t fund this important service for staff. NHS PH helps save careers and even lives of healthcare professionals. If you work in 2dary care you likely know someone who’s benefited from PH.

We are very concerned about these changes and will follow up urgently with NHSE. Many members have found Practitioner Health services to be pivotal to continuing clinical practice and supporting mental health & wellbeing. It is vital that support for such services is maintained.
