Interested in 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing on Oxford Nanopore ? Check out our preprint (first-authored by the amazing Xuan.L), where we validate high-throughput UMI-based sequencing of 16S rRNA genes using Q20+ chemistry. TLDR: 3 is the magic number!🪄🧬 tinyurl.com/46pba94k (1/8)

We've put out a new version of readfish, our tool for Oxford Nanopore adaptive sampling. This is our v1.0 release and has a lot of improvements, tweaks and stability issues addressed. It has been in testing for a long time and works with all ONT platforms - github.com/looselab/readf…

Great to see Dr Simon Paine preenting on rapid CNS tumour diagnostics at #nanoporeconf - we are hosting a whole day on this in Nottingham on 27th June - the meeting is free, but does require registration. tickettailor.com/events/cnstumo…
