Hi moms 👋 If you were born in the 70s or 80s, there’s a chance you only got one MMR shot as a kid. With measles making a comeback, now’s a good time to check your titers to see if you’re still protected. I just did this for a mama in my practice – turns out she needed a booster!

Thank you Thimble Health for letting me try out your amazing pre-and post needle poke system on my patients. They all reported less (or no) pain with shots and IV and felt fine the next day. No after shot sore arm! This is a game changer for my patients at Calabasas Pediatrics

Yikes! That heart-stopping moment when your little one swallows something they shouldn't – like a crayon 😱🖍️ If they're breathing fine and not in pain, it should pass on its own. But when in doubt, always call your pediatrician! #pov #pediatrician

Don’t know your child’s blood type? Don’t worry! It’s actually more common now to NOT know your child’s blood type, your pediatrician might not even know! Because nowadays, if you or your child is in an emergency situation, they are going to recheck your blood!

If your little one is congested, I highly recommend these products from fridababy. This video is NOT sponsored - I just wanted to share how amazing they are! If your child is really sick, not eating well, not breathing well, or is not getting better see your pediatrician.

Babies under 6 months need extra summer protection! Keep them in the shade whenever possible, use infant-safe SPF 30+ sunscreen (look for zinc oxide or titanium dioxide), dress them in sun-protective clothing & wide-brim hats, and always keep them cool & hydrated.
