The GAA is entitled to be politically motivated. Unionists are entitled to oppose those nationalist politics. If the GAA wants to be just a group of sports, it can be; by changing its aims & actions. If it decides not to, it is reasonable to avoid any engagement with it.

Richard Grant Sean Others "seeing" my comments as sectarian bigotry doesn't make them so. Not all opposition to nationalism and republicanism is sectarian bigotry. That's intellectually vacuous. You seem stunned that unionists object to nationalism? Have you just landed here on earth?

The GAA has an exclusionist history. Rule 27 and Rule 42. They closed themselves off from the sporting world when it suited them. It's ironic that they want to play inclusive "happy campers" now. Not a sport; a political movement.

Before they even thought to tell us how their sports would be played, they excluded Unionists en masse. And now, Unionists are the villains for daring to raise an eyebrow at how the GAA conducts itself.

I'm proud to say I'm a Unionist. That doesn't mean everything done in the name of Unionism gets my unwaivering support. But it absolutely does mean that the principles, heritage, and traditions of Unionism are things I advocate for and aim to uphold. Unashamedly Unionist.

Chris appears to have appointed himself as the arbiter of legitimate causes. Here's another legitimate cause; opposing the IRA-glorifying GAA. Door-steeping a private citizen isn't journalism. They should have written to the lodge for comment. The lodge's position was clear.

Another totally unbiased article from Northern Ireland's favourite republican Chris Donnelly Falsified revisionism and historical re-writing are his areas of expertise. Chris Donnelly: Time for GAA to be given level playing field – The Irish News share.google/r8UvuLgju9jHjb…

Chris here, selling opinions as facts. His opinions aren't often very well-framed. They normally involve a cheap dig at anything Unionist. He has served us another whopper here.

The irony of Chris commenting on any issues of morality is mind-boggling! When one's moral compass is so askew as to justify IRA terror and murder, for example, it's best not to comment on other people's moral compass. Read the room.

Yet another account calling on my employer because I dare to question Chris Donnelly's anti-British diatribe. I wonder will the same person ask Donnelly's governors to look at his twitter feed? Or is it just because I'm saying something that they don't like?

Feedback drives learning. But only if the student uses it. Direct instruction builds in feedback— constant checks for understanding, adjusting in real time. In discovery learning, feedback is often too little, too late, and directed towards vague skills or the product itself.

And the GAA wonders why Unionists might view it as a political organisation rather than a sporting one? A republican political front, masquerading as sport.
