Working from home today and had a power cut. I had to rely on mobile phone for internet and make a coffee on the wood stove with water taken manually from our well (private water supply - no power, no water pump).

Lots of water quality issues in the uk today. Spot which part of the country has a water company which is ‘not for profit’. Hint - it’s on the left with green ticks

I have completely lost faith in the peer review system (I pretty much had already). Comments from last review were full of typos - probably written in a few minutes. Now a different paper, different journal and email from editor is written so poorly it doesn’t make sense.
