After decades, polio returned to #Gaza, but the Ministry of Health, UNRWA , UNICEF, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, World Health Organization (WHO) and partners acted swiftly. Despite conflict and other severe challenges, they conducted 3 campaigns. In April, sewage samples tested were polio-free, a rare win for Gaza’s children.
