A reminder that we don't have to return to what was the status quo. As a trainee (i.e., little funding) with a young family (i.e., little time), I gain access when conferences are virtual. Not to mention lightening my carbon footprint. What will we prioritize in the future?

I don't view a mask mandate as "punishment." It's a science-backed way to protect our communities and the most vulnerable during times of high COVID risk. I care about all my fellow Vermonters and want to do the most to protect them regardless of *why* they are vulnerable.
