My business idea is to make something like a science escape room for productivity. Just a small room with no internet and a nice view that you can't leave for two hours so you can work. Basically trying to recreate the Metro North train without having to get on an actual train.

“It’s 5:30am, pitch dark and quiet, and I am still Very sleepy. Time to force myself awake and refuse to go back to sleep even if I can barely hold my own head up!” -My infant son’s inner monologue every single morning

What do you think are reliable approaches to associate a TF with the genes whose transcription it regulates? What are your favorite databases of such TF-gene associations?

Hey bioinformatics people, what are your favorite tools for pathway enrichment and visualization? I can never seem to land on one that gives nested hierarchies of pathways in clear, concise figures! #Bioinformatics #omics

I think my favorite thing about moving from a tiny NYC apartment to a good size house in the suburbs is that all of my children are still always standing in the exact same square inch I am standing in.

Anyone in the market for renters insurance, I would urge you to avoid Travelers We had been customers for ten years, when we finally cancelled our policy they have been non-stop harassing us for money we don’t owe ($49!). Awful. So much wasted time/energy

5,562 proteins were found to have tissue-specific enrichment across 32 human tissues. The majority of them (3,088) are enriched at the protein but not RNA level. The brain hosts the largest number of proteins that are only enriched at the protein level but not RNA level.

This thanksgiving season I am personally thankful for the one day this month no one in my family was sick. That was the best day.
