This year, we offered our English Language Learner families a chance to learn English themselves by taking classes at night with our ENL department. 3 families were awarded certificates tonight for significant progress made with the English language.👏

Congratulations to our soccer team on their 2nd championship trophy of the year! Now we head to the city to try and bring a 3rd one home! ⚽️🏆⚽️

Principal Lawrence treated the staff to a Food truck luncheon to show her appreciation to the staff. It was such a great surprise on a beautiful Friday afternoon. We are so thankful to have her as Principal. Thanks, Ciao Bella concessions for the delicious food.

Mona,our partnership mural artist, led the last session of art club. Our artists went outdoors and did some planting, courtesy of the SI Greenbelt Native Plant Center. Ss continue to make connections between community & common species that have grown here since time began.

Today is Juneteenth, a day when we honor and celebrate the freedom of Black Americans in the United States. Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚

"THE FAMILY" created by Mr. Rochford started mid year,& the data speaks for its success! Ss went from failing to passing, from following to leading, from behavioral to engaged. A celebration was had to honor the success of each member and their ranking in the program.
