It’s our opinion that some return to throwing programs have major flaws. Tools exist today like PULSE that can raise the standards of Tommy John rehab. We want a standardized approach but an individualized method ⤵️ drivelinebaseball.com/2015/09/tommy-…

Why is PULSE invaluable? A proper throwing program looks at: 1. Volume 2. Intensity 3. Frequency Easy enough to monitor 1 but are you aware of all 3 in your program? credit: Dean Jackson showing me the importance of all 3 variables & only increasing 1 at a time.

Dave Fobare mentioned an article and I’m fairly certain he didn’t mean from me, but it did get me thinking about how my experience may help someone out (or give me some advice). Here’s a thread. 1/n

First Podcast Appearance ✅ S/O Kyle Lindley and Max Engelbrekt for having me on. Lots of topics covered, from Middlebury Baseball season, PULSE workload usage, and a lot more! Lot of fun to be back at Driveline Baseball for the summer! youtu.be/dbcIdH5xQE4 via YouTube

Even MLB veterans can mess up the basics. Here's how an 8-year MLB veteran PR'd in a showcase bullpen one week after using Pulse 🧵

A sneaky 🔓 with PULSE has been using the timestamps to adjust my pregame throwing based on how I felt that day In my last outing I went 6IP on 84 pitches and felt great! So I looked back to see what I did for my warmup to replicate it for a start that I have tonight⬇️

Recorded a pod this AM with Garrison Roy and talked a bit about throwing intensity guides Instead of distance (stretch it out to 120 ft), it can be better to provide more concrete guides (stay under 750 RPM max PULSE arm speed) Problem is, %effort =/= %peakArmSpeed

Throwing With PULSE, A Thread: In the wake of two UCL tears and what will be close to two years of physical therapy and rehabilitation, I’ve had some time to figure some things out (Not everything though, unfortunately).

It's 2022. There's no reason to be in the dark anymore. with Video, Messaging, Traq, and especially PULSE, I can tell if programming is being completed and if it's working. Seems like a waste to not utilize what's available to you 🤷‍♂️ drivelinebaseball.com/2021/10/introd…

On this full length episode, we have Kyle joining on to talk about his experience as a player and sport scientist. He shares some of the recent findings and challenges with technology and baseball and also what the future holds for the game!

This graphic unfortunately doesn't give a lot of useful info. How many times did they get hot? How many days did they get hot? What are they built up for? This is why I don't make armchair pitch count decisions. PULSE to track workload + WL simulation 🔥

Four ways PULSE can help you manage workload and more: 1. Count total and high effort throws 2. On-ramp from the off-season 3. Compare workloads of different training days 4. Plan and chart bullpens drivelinebaseball.com/2021/09/four-w…

💯💯💯 Way too much unneeded guesswork when it comes to throwing volume and intensity, especially during preseason on ramping and mid season workload management. PULSE can help quantify throwing measures that have largely been left to “gut feel” up to this point.
