Ministering to my children in painful times, teaching the Word on their level, praising God through storms, apologizing & forgiving, praying together, loving their dad & serving others as a family has been the best training for me to serve the local church. Do it at home first.

Obedience to the Lord is not complicated. It only feels that way when we don’t want to do it. The Bible doesn’t tell us to negotiate with God but submit to God. Ahhh the “S” word that humanism tricked the Church into believing is a cuss word.

People will talk your head off until you say something they don’t want to hear. Then it’s 🚗💨💨💨💨 👻 👻👻 I don’t even get mad anymore, but I do guard my time and energy better. Grandma used to say, “I ain’t gon’ waste my breath.”😂😂😂😂😂

You cannot build or sustain a healthy spiritual life feeding upon sermon clips online. Consider if the clips you like encourage you to lift up Jesus or yourself. We should always ask ourselves- Why did I like that? Should I like that?

Dear Christian, Standing on the Word of God draws enemies ~ Get used to it Following & obeying Jesus draws enemies ~ Get used to it Speaking truth to culture draws enemies ~ Get used to it Being unashamed of the Gospel draws enemies ~ Get used to it Endure to the end…Mark 13:13

In a world where the influence of language is monetized and the skill to turn a phrase is praised, “Jesus Saves” is still one of the most powerful things you can say. Don’t despair if you aren’t a celebrated orator or a prize-winning writer, God can be gloried in simplicity.

Do you know why God made you? So many of us are scrambling for significance & purpose but did you know God answers this question fundamentally in His Word? I encourage you search the Scriptures & see what you find on a macro and micro level for the purpose of your creation?

Sarita Lyons, JD, PhD once again Dr. Lyons I want to thank you for your very awesome, measured, Christian response on Jude 3, which cautions all of us to be careful of the "edutaintainment" we receive and for your being courageous to speak a holy and discerning truth.

God gave me a vision of speaking prophetically to someone & they stated cursing me & hitting me in my face. The entire time I was being hit I kept speaking. When the vision was over God said, “The wicked flee when no one pursues but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Prov. 28:1

When we hear God speak from his Word or through the lips of a man or a woman of God, it requires a response. Even to ignore, is a response. Choose this day, whom you will serve. Joshua 24:15, Psalm 95:7-9, James 4:17

One thing I love about Paul is he had a clear identity. Read all his salutations & ask yourself, Do I know myself & purpose in light of Jesus? “Paul, an apostle — not from men or by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised him from the dead  — ” Gal. 1:1

Christians must be aware of and skilled at helping others navigate the barriers to trusting God. From racism to sexism, sexual abuse to abuse of power- some aren’t struggling with the facts of Christianity, rather the injuries from those who have misrepresented the faith.
