Are you passionate about a particular topic in sensorimotor control, learning, or any other aspect of behaviour? Propose a panel with scientists whose work you love for the next NCM society meeting Don't worry about your career stage; exciting science is all that matters!

Prof. Pratik Mutha Pratik Mutha from IIT Gandhinagar gave a very interesting talk in our lab meeting last week. He presented some recent studies from his lab exploring the role of sensory prediction error and task prediction error in visuomotor learning in young healthy individuals.

🍻Some personal news! I have been awarded the 2024 Biaggi de Blasys award from LndsNeuro for my joint EPFL Neuro-X Institute and @UCLouvain_be PhD on reinforcement motor learning with Hummel Lab,DuqueLab and Gerard Derosiere Thank you so much!🤩 wp.unil.ch/lemanicneurosc…

Our journal club had the pleasure of hosting Manisha Biswas from Social Intelligence Lab for an enlightening talk! Her captivating work sparked engaging discussions and insights. A big thank you to Manisha for sharing her expertise and time with us!

More on reward, motor cortex, and motor learning! Here is our latest article on BioRxiv, exploring how extrinsic rewards impact motor plasticity during skill learning: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… A collaboration with Goldy Yadav, Pierre Vassiliadis, Hummel Lab and DuqueLab!

1/5 Thrilled to share our Perspective in Nature Communications! Collaborating with solaiman.shokur & Pierre Vassiliadis on this was such a rewarding experience. If you're into motor control and/or reward processing and/or neurotechnology, please take a look! Link: nature.com/articles/s4146…
