Quick check of the 4.4.0 update files: Nothing new, apart from gameplay fixes. Master League animations are still there, tucked away next to the inactive Edit Mode. 🤷‍♂️ Konami says that the update increases the game from 80 GB to 100 GB when this is completely false, again.

With 4.4.0 update, there are now six new teams named "Event Team" in addition to the fake Dortmund in game code. This seems to correspond to the number of missing teams that could complete a possible online event related to the FIFA Club World Cup... 🤔 Assumption, only.

🛠️ Since #efootball update 4.5.0, all menu path data has been encrypted. 🧐 Is Konami trying to hide something or further restrict modders' access? These menu files were very small so no space saving needed and was not widely used in modding 🤨

🏟️ A new stadium called "Temporary Stadium 00" seems to be in development since #efootball 4.5.0. Very badly textured atm, it appears to be created for a new special temporary event on a smaller field, similar to Strike Arena and is on mobile game files too.

Forgot my previous tweet about the New Camp Nou lighting file, I've check it was a left over of an old version of actual Camp Nou model. I think however that the New Camp Nou will come to #efootball shortly after the real one is inaugurated, we will see.

This thing comes up a lot, but I remember it's something that's been in PES for a very long time. I was already thinking this way back in 2014. Replay & gameplay graphics are and will remain different sadly, it's a issue that is deeply rooted in the source code since PES days.

Just be wary of #efootball2026 "rumors," as always during this time of year. We're having several years of disappointments, so don't try to believe in something. At best, you'll be in for a very pleasant surprise if you don't expect anything from Konami. 🤷‍♂️
