Today The Dutch Polar Bears Foundation visited the Maczek Memorial in Breda again. We talked about the rescue; 2nd Polish armoured Division rescued Polar Bears twice in WWII. After the visit and our ceremony on the cemetery we visited the son of a Polish Liberator, Josef Kubicki. #forgottenheroes

We did preparations and meetings for Camp Thruster and the Liberation Ride from 29/10 - 03/11, our visit to Normandy and our support in September and October for several activities and commemorations . Today small delegation of The Dutch Polar Bears Foundation visited the old prison of Leeuwarden, called Blokpoort. Here was a exposition of Dutch resistance in WWII regarding the liberation of a group resistance fighters out of the prison without 1 shot fired. They made a movie about it” De Overval”
