There has been a lot of talk at #ICRS2023 about drug-drug interactions affecting cannabinoid pharmacokinetics. My 2019-poster on CYP450 inducers involved in cannabidiol metabolism that afford therapeutically relevant (bioactive?) species: researchgate.net/publication/36…? CannabinoidSociety

Thank you Minister annewebster2013 for flying the flag for #DIPG #DMG parents & researchers. If you can spare 3 mins please watch, share & encourage your local member to help us draw a line in the sand & fund research that leads to improved outcomes youtu.be/ZkeFFNqkiMU

.Lambert Initiative is United In Compassion bound! We’re excited to talk about the work we’re doing, and hear from those who are on the ground working in the community to help make changes happen #medicinalcannabis

The recently detected purported synthetic cannabinoid AFUBIATA is not a cannabinoid receptor agonist in our hands! We synthesised this compound and assessed its activity at both CB1 and CB2 receptors, with no agonist activity observed.

Friends in #cannabinoid science: This is your semi-regular reminder that when working with #cannabinoids, you *MUST* change your tips in between serial dilution steps. Otherwise, you end up with things looking MUCH more potent than they actually are. Cannabinoids are STICKY!

According to others, turns out that this might also apply for #peptides and #opiates. Maybe best bet is just to assume all compounds are sticky, unless you can show otherwise! #ChangeYourTips #DrugDiscovery #AcademicChatter

My lab is looking to hire a postdoc to work on amygdala and stress projects, with a focus on endocannabinoids. This project would incorporate a range of techniques/approaches and my lab is nested in a great research environment. Send me an email if interested [email protected]

Latest work from Lambert Initiative is online in ACSChemNeurosci! In another great collaboration with Christophe Stove et al., we looked at the recently detected synthetic cannabinoid ADB-HEXINACA and related analogues as emerging NPS🧪🔍 pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

It's all things adamantane in our (Lambert Initiative) latest synthetic cannabinoid work, out now in ACSChemNeurosci! We synthesised and evaluated a library of adamantane-derived SCRAs, including fluorinated and deuterated analogues 🧪 🧵 pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
