TIREX is Türkiye's first ERA Chair project led by Caner Süsal and supported by the European Commission with 2.5 Million Euro funding. TIREX project was initiated at Koç University Hospital by Ihsan Solaroglu and brought to fruition by the ERA Chair Holder Caner Süsal.

Our goal at TIREX is to become a prominent research center at the global scale in transplant immunology and utilize the so far unused potential in the region.

We aim to raise a young generation of scientists that is able to develop treatments and tests that increase the quality of life of organ transplant patients.
