Prof. Manuel Porcar, from DARWIN Bioprospecting Excellence and the University of Valencia talked about the importance of microbiomes for the industry during the session 5 focused on “Microbiomes preservation and exploitation”.

During the session 2 “Microbes from farm to fork” Claus Heiner Bang-Berthelsen talked about using microbial diversity or complex communities for valorisation of side-streams for food applications.
