Had a great time at #ICEM2025, from teaching a sold out pre-conference course, to meeting lots of people at #ECG jeopardy, to learning from great talks. Thanks CAEP /International Conference on Emergency Medicine for organizing. Next courses below. Jesse McLaren Anton Helman

Dr G Rajesh (Gopalan Nair Rajesh). Thanks for sharing! This is the precordial swirl pattern that we described here: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…. Can be difficult to learn/distinguish, but we did our best to describe in that pub. Anyone regardless of training has the ability to diagnose this immediately with PM Cardio

Both patients present with stabbing chest pain. But only one will suffer a VF arrest from a fully occluded culprit coronary artery. Can you spot which one based on their #ECG?

75 year old with acute chest pain: 6 bad reasons not to cath. And why do so many cardiologists want to wait for troponins? (i.e., wait until the myocardium is dead?) drsmithsecgblog.com/75-year-old-wi…

Great reminder that Troponin is not a rule-in test and often falsely negative. This is what happens when a patient mistakenly falls into the wrong clinical pathway!
