January 2025 Early College RRISD Highlight: At the start of January, we were pleased and proud to welcome ECHS Alumni from our inaugural Class of 2020 through our Class of 2024! The ECHS graduates returned to share experiences and learning during 9th - 12th grade AVID classes.

WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFICIALLY BE MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY INTERSCHOLASTIC LEAGUE Texas UIL FOR ACADEMICS!!! Our Early College RRISD Academic UIL Club began this year, led by ECHS teacher, Robin Foerster. Members of our ECHS UIL Club debuted by engaging in their FIRST UIL Invitational! 🦉

We are very pleased to acknowledge our Early College RRISD Staff of the Year 2026 is Helen Holmes! Mrs. Holmes works tirelessly to make sure that all our students succeed. She's kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable about all areas for a high school counselor. CONGRATULATIONS!💫🦉

Tomorrow, February 14th, is our Early College RRISD College and Career Day! We are very pleased and appreciative to all the guest career speakers, colleges, trade schools and military branches who will be participating! ❤️🦉

Today,March 7th, is an exciting day for Early College RRISD! It's ADMISSION DAY for our ECHS Class of 2029! Dr. Elizabeth Wilson, Mrs.Ross,Dr.Laugier & Mrs. Holmes, along with ECHS student ambassadors; are headed to Round Rock ISD middle schools to extend CONGRATS to the selected 8th graders! 🦉

This year’s Spring 2025 @AVID4college Expo was on April 1st! For the 3rd consecutive year, many of our Early College RRISD students showcased school or passion projects that they completed and highlighted the AVID strategies they incorporated. Thanks Round Rock ISD guests who attended. 🦉

There have been great highlights during the Spring 2025 semester, including: Early College RRISD Seniors in ACC District 🦇 Professor Hoag's TX Government class had the opportunity to go visit both chambers at the Texas Capitol! This trip also included visiting the TX Supreme Court! 🦉

The 2nd Annual (Caldwell Heights)/ Early College RRISD) Carnival on April 12th was a HUGE success! Numerous families came out for the fun! KUDOS to our AWESOME ECHS PTSA for leading this effort partnered with the CHE PTA! THANKS Round Rock ISD Chuy Zárate for joining us!🦉🦅
