So far each team has hit a home run, including a 2-runshot from Karstn Mootz, and ECS Sports trails Geneva 4-3 after 1 inning of the Class 1A softball championship.

The runs keep coming. Geneva went up 6-3 in top of 2nd and ECS Sports scores 5 in bottom half with 2 run double for Payton Billie and Mootz with a triple scores another and she’s halfway the cycle as Sentinels take 8-6 lead in 1A final after 2

As I said, ECS Sports scored 4 in the bottom of the 4th and Geneva only 1 in top of 5th on an error to make it 14-12 Geneva as ECS comes to bat

.ECS Sports will have to settle for a 16-14 lead as they could not get any more runs across with the bases loaded and 2 outs against Geneva as we are through 5 in the Class 1A stage title game.
