Our keynote speaker, Dr Alkis Velivasis talks on "Optimising Mental Health: The Role of Preconception and Interconception Care in Women with Mental Illness." He is a Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist specialising in preconception mental health for women of childbearing age.

We are pleased to announce that 9 UK universities have been selected to make up the NIHR Challenge: Maternity Disparities Consortium. The consortium aims to tackle #inequalities in #maternity outcomes. Research will aim to lead to measurable improvements in care and outcomes
